Big Blue visits The Peloponese

Mihalis and Lisa spent Christmas visiting Laconia in The Peloponese and trialling some possible swim routes in the still toasty 16c Greek waters.

One favourite was a swim from Monemvasia rock to the mainland. Monemvasia town is full of Byzantine and medieval architecture and the perfect place to enjoy some traditional Monemvasia wine and home cooked food after a hard days swimming. It really is a breath taking view from the ancient town with its cobbled streets as you look out across the ocean.
