Dozens of striped Dolphins and their young made our day as they playfully cruised along Mowgli one glorious Wednesday morning. If you look closely you can see the reflection in the water of swimmers taking shots of them from the front of Mowgli. Shortly afterwards we stopped the boat and people took to the water to swim with them.
Lefkada and the surrounding areas are their breeding and hunting grounds and The Big Blue was privileged to experience their elegant presence in the blue seas, to take photographs and send them to the Ionian Dolphin Project for monitoring and recording.
