The Big Blue supported “Adventure Challenge Solutions”:http://www.adventure-challenge-solutions.co.uk/ November 2011 event Dip in The Dark, with all swimmers wearing our distinct white swim caps at Capernwray Dive Centre, U.K. This event is unique in that it allows swimmers a chance to undertake an extraordinary night swim following by a social BBQ with fireworks.
The swim itself takes place at Capernwray the U.K’s second cleanest lake, where swimmers can swim over submerged helicopters, boats and even a fairground horse! Our bright white hats were ideal for spotting the 60 swimmers who swam the 500 meter circuit of the lake in the slightly chilly (!) 11c water.
Don’t worry the water is much warmer in Greece.
